Have you ever seen blood spilled
Pumped out onto the ground
Heard it as it leaves the body
Heard it mix in with the lungs struggling

Gurgling sound

Have you ever seen it
Dried and caked on youth
Who though wounded fought
Back with all their hearts truth

Have you ever looked back
And with that color in mind
Let it tell the story of courage
And suffering sacrifice that was

Layed upon the alter that time
